What Happened to September and October?

Hello everyone,

I have been so busy learning how to grab onto toys, practicing sitting, and in general astounding everyone I meet with my cuteness that I've been a bit neglectful with my blog.  Here's a quick update of what's been going on this fall.

I went to the zoo, and rode on my first carousel ride.

Please don't mistake me for an animal!

My Papa taught me how to drive a car!  Clear the roads!
I discovered my toes!  I love my feet.

One day Mommy got me confused with the clothes, and I ended up in the laundry basket!  It was nice having all my toys within reach though.

Daddy said I probably didn't need any new clothes for a while, and this was my response.....or maybe that's what Mommy did.  :)

I learned how to roll from my back to my tummy recently, which is really fun, until I realize I'm on my tummy, which I don't particularly like.

Another big step - solid food!  Let me just say, it's not all it's cracked up to be.  Where's my steak and lobster?

This doesn't taste right....
Are you kidding me with this stuff?

Are we really doing this again?
Oh God, it's on my tongue!  Get it off!

Thankfully, it got better.  Now I'm loving my bananas, pears, squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots.  The jury's still out on peas though.
Yummy in my tummy!

Ever heard of a carrot facial?
That's all for now.  Stay tuned for some Halloween photos.  If you want more pictures of September and October, send my Mommy an e-mail and she'll get them to you.

Love,
Hannah

End of Summer Update

Hello everyone,

I know I haven't been keeping up with my blog much lately, but I've been really busy this summer trying to keep Mommy on her toes!  Sometimes she hardly has time to brush her hair, which can be a bit startling.....

I, however, am always ready to go out on the town.  Although when you're this cute, sometimes you have to travel incognito.....

One thing I've learned lately is how to perfect my "begging" look.  This will come in handy later, when I ask my daddy, "Pretty please, can I borrow the car?"  As you can see, I've already got him wrapped around my little finger.

Earlier this summer I got to go to my cousin Ben's birthday party.  I loved hanging out with my Yaya and Grandpa, and watching Ben hit that pinata.

I also went to the Olbrich Gardens, and saw some beautiful flowers.

What I learned on my summer vacation:

1. It's important to eat right.  Hands happen to be extremely delicious AND nutritious.

Snacking throughout the day is better than a few big meals.  Eating just a finger or two is a great idea.

2. Make time for yourself.  Do things you enjoy.  You can also eat the things you enjoy.

3. Get adequate exercise.

4. Maintain a positive attitude.
5. Don't underestimate the importance of sleep.

If you follow these simple steps, you can look as youthful as I do!  (Those Anne Geddes babies have nothing on me.)  :)

Well, that's all for now.  Love you!
